Lancaster University Sports Centre boasts all the facilities you would expect from a fantastic university. In addition to catering for staff and students across the UK, the fully accessible facilities are open to members of the community, providing everyone in the local area access to some of the best facilities and industry leading equipment in the UK.
Conveniently situated on the A6 with excellent transport links to the city centre and the surrounding areas, Lancaster University Sports Centre offers extensive indoor and outdoor facilities open for use all year round.
Indoor facilities include two eight-court sports halls with well-maintained equipment, ideal for various sports activities. You can also find a 25m swimming pool, an 8.5m lead climbing wall with a bouldering cave, squash courts, a steam room, and a sauna. For those focused on fitness, there is a well-equipped fitness suite featuring the latest Technogym equipment, along with a dedicated strength and conditioning room. Outdoor facilities include eight tennis courts complete with floodlit lighting.
In addition to these facilities, there are a wide range of group exercise classes on offer for all abilities, which include a programme of Les Mills fitness classes. Newly launched Les Mills Virtual classes consisting of cardio, body pump, body combat and sprint sessions are also held throughout the week alongside regularly instructed in-person classes.

Make the most of the fantastic facilities, classes and support the Sports Centre has to offer by becoming a member. Community memberships start from just ?36.50 per month. There are three membership options to choose from: Gold, Silver, and Bronze, all three membership options include access to the fitness suite, swimming pool and group exercise classes.
